Keeping You Safe At Sunset
The team at Sunset Cinema take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and are committed to provide a safe event for all patrons, staff & partners.
We have been closely monitoring the current COVID-19 Australian Government, Australian Health Department, ACT & NSW State Government and Event Venue Partner advice and restrictions, and any additional regulatory requirements will be implemented accordingly.
Our aim is to make sure we are doing everything we can to help eliminate COVID-19 community transmission to ensure the event is as safe as possible. We greatly appreciate your patience and assistance during this time.
A number of measures have been implemented (see below) to optimise safety. All patrons must also check-in upon entry via our QR code. Any patron who does not follow these or any instructions from staff will be refused entry and asked to leave.
Please maintain social distancing of 1.5m at all times, this includes queuing for entry. All patrons must be seated when eating or drinking.
Our onsite hygiene marshal's will direct you to a section of the seating area which ensures social distancing. There are clear aisles to enter and exit the seating area.
We have increased our hygiene with additional cleaning & sanistisers around the event. Our staff are also cleaning the seating hire options after each customer has used them.
There will be no box office, all tickets must be purchased online before you arrive at Sunset Cinema.
You must not attend Sunset Cinema if you are feeling unwell or have been told to isolate. In some locations you may be temperature checked.
Sunset Cinema is a cashless event. We prefer contactless payments.
Do I need to wear a mask?
The official advice from the NSW government is a recommendation to wear a mask. However, this is at the patron’s discretion and not required by law.
What if I have been told to isolate or feel unwell?
If you feel unwell, awaiting COVID-19 test results or have been told to isolate, you must not attend Sunset Cinema and stay home. If you have already purchased your tickets we will provide you with a full refund; simply contact us at email@example.com.
Can I leave my seat?
To maintain maximum social distancing, we recommend that you stay seated unless you are using the bathrooms or collecting any food & beverages.
You must remain seated whilst eating and drinking.
