The team at Sunset Drive-In take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and are committed to provide a safe event for all patrons, staff & partners. We have been closely monitoring the current COVID-19 Australian Government, Australian Health Department, NSW State, Venue Owner and Event Venue Partner (Ku-ring-gai Council) advice and restrictions, and any additional regulatory requirements will be implemented accordingly.
To ensure a safe event we have implemented measures including; providing staff with personal protective equipment & ensuring surface and hand sanitising is completed on a regular basis. Hand sanitiser is available at the food outlets and hand washing stations within the bathrooms on site. It is at the patron’s discretion whether to wear a face mask to the event.
We also ask patrons to maintain social distancing and practice good hygiene. If any patron, staff or partner feels unwell or has been exposed to COVID-19, they must not attend the event and remain at home. Our aim is to make sure we are doing everything we can to help reduce COVID-19 community transmission to ensure the event is as safe as possible. We greatly appreciate your assistance during this time.
Do I need to wear a mask?
The official advice from the NSW government is a recommendation to wear a mask. However, this is at the patron’s discretion and not required by law.
What if I have been told to isolate or feel unwell?
If you feel unwell, awaiting COVID-19 test results or have been told to isolate, you must not attend Sunset Drive In and stay home. If you have already purchased your tickets we will provide you with a full refund; simply contact us at email@example.com. Please be aware that this must be done within 7 days of the screening.
Can I leave my car?
To maintain maximum social distancing, we recommend that you stay in your car unless you are using the bathrooms or collecting any food & beverages.
You must maintain social distancing of 1.5m at all times whilst at Sunset Drive In.
